Reorganization Of Sales
In an effort to give us a greater strategic focus on sales and increase our overall market share, we are pleased to announce the following organizational changes in sales effective immediately:
Don Lenz has accepted the position as Director of Sales - Stationary.
Don, who has a strong background in stationary, led Douglas Battery’s initial entry into the telecommunications market and will lead our efforts in growing the stationary side of our business. With Don’s leadership we expect to move into new markets and develop key customers based on an improved sales plan.
Brian Faust has accepted the position as Director of Sales - Motive Power. Brian brings us strong motive power experience in sales and will be responsible for improving our overall market share in the motive power business through new additional customers as well as increased volume with existing customers.
Stan Urban will assume responsibilities as Director of Sales Operations. Stan will focus on improved inventories and pricing that support both sales and cash flow. Stan will direct strategic marketing efforts and continue assuming responsibilities for customer service and sales support.
While each of the Directors are expected to set targets based on their new market plan and strategies, we would like to wish each of them our best wishes and support. |
